VA Smalltalk
The VisualAge Smalltalk product line was sold to Instantiations, Inc. who sold and supported the 6.x branch (released as VA Smalltalk 7, which bundled VA Assist Enterprise/S, WidgetKit/Controls, and GF/ST - originally add-on products - with the Smalltalk release). VA Smalltalk 7 supported OS/2, but support was subsequently removed from the 8.x product branch.
Initially, Instantiations plans to enhance the VisualAge Smalltalk technology with many improvements including a modern user interface provided by its VA Assist product, new controls, and a preview of new "Migration Readiness" capabilities from Synchrony Systems' Software Modernization Technology - SMT. Longer range technical plans are under development.
