WM RENDERFMT

This message is a request to the clipboard owner to render the data of the specified format.

Syntax

param1
    USHORT    usfmt;      /* Data format. */

param2
    ULONG     ulReserved; /* Reserved value, should be 0. */

Parameters

usfmt (USHORT) - Input

Data format. This is the format of the data to be rendered.

CF_BITMAP: A bit map.
CF_DSPBITMAP: A bit-map representation of a private data format.
CF_DSPMETAFILE: A metafile representation of a private data format.
CF_DSPTEXT: A textual representation of a private data format.
CF_METAFILE: A metafile.
CF_TEXT: An array of text characters.

ulReserved (ULONG) - Input: Reserved value, should be 0.

Returns

ulReserved (ULONG) - returns: Reserved value, should be 0.

Remarks

The data is rendered into a global handle, which is then set into the clipboard with WinSetClipbrdData.
