STEVIE (ST Editor for VI Enthusiasts) is a clone of the UNIX editor vi.
The editor was first written by Tim Thompson for the Atari ST. Later versions improved by Tony Andrews also support UNIX, Minix, MS-DOS, and OS/2.
Tony Andrews' port to the Amiga was the basis for the development of Vim. PVIC (Portable VI Clone) was derived from STEVIE 3.69B.
