LAPSDISK.EXE

From EDM2

This utility transfers an MPTS/Socket-MPTS installation diskette image to a target directory tree — typically a network "code server" location for later CID-style unattended installs. It is documented in the IBM MPTS Configuration Guide (MPTSCFG.INF), in the chapter "Transferring the MPTS and Socket/MPTS Diskette Images to a Code Server Using LAPSDISK". It reconstructs the same \IBMCOM/\IBMCOM\MACS layout at the target path, and uses PKUNZIP2.EXE to extract files as needed.

Syntax

[<path>]LAPSDISK <source> <target>

Notes

File placement at the target: MAC NIF files and their support files (except .MSG files) go under \IBMCOM\MACS; message files (.MSG) go under \IBMCOM, both relative to the target path given on the command line. Documented alongside LAPSRSP.EXE in the same MPTS Utility Programs chapter and the same message catalog (XI0.MSG/XI0H.MSG).
