LANMSGDL.DLL is part of LAN Adapter and Protocol Support (LAPS), the network adapter and
protocol configuration component of Communications Manager/2, and resides in
\IBMCOM\DLL. It is the LAN message-display helper imported by
ACSLAN.DLL, exporting one function, MRMSG. Unlike the other files in this
family, it imports KBDCALLS/VIOCALLS as well as MSG,
so it can display a message directly on a VIO (character-mode) screen without requiring
Presentation Manager.
