CN HELP

This message is sent by the container control to its owner whenever the container receives a WM_HELP message.

Syntax

param1
USHORT id;       /* Container control ID. */
USHORT CN_HELP;  /* Notification code. */

param2
PRECORDCORE pRecord; /* Pointer to the record that has the selection cursor. */

Parameters

id (USHORT) - Input: Container control ID.
CN_HELP (USHORT) - Input: Notification code.
pRecord (PRECORDCORE) - Input: Pointer to the record that has the selection cursor.; Note: If the CCS_MINIRECORDCORE style bit is specified when a container is created, then MINIRECORDCORE should be used instead of RECORDCORE and PMINIRECORDCORE should be used instead of PRECORDCORE in all applicable data structures and messages.

Returns

ulReserved (ULONG) - returns: Reserved value, should be 0.

Remarks

This notification code is sent to the container's owner when help is requested for a container item.

Default Processing

The default window procedure does not expect to receive this notification code and therefore takes no action on it other than to return 0.
