BDCOM.SYS

From EDM2

Communication port 32 bit BASDEV device driver for the 1C00:2273, 9710:9865 (MosChip) and the 125B:9100 devices.

Syntax

BASEDEV=BDCOM.SYS <parameter>

Parameters

/B3
The base for com-ports. 3 - The first UART COM3 and second COM4. Base - only one character ( 0..8 ).
/P0
for COM1
/P1
for COM2

Each UART requires a separate line in config.sys. There should be as many lines as you want to see COMx in the system.

Example

BASEDEV=BDCOM.SYS /P0

The parameters "/P0" for COM1

BASEDEV=BDCOM.SYS /P1

The parameters "/P1" for COM2

BASEDEV=BDCOM.SYS /B3 /P0

The parameters "/B3 /P0" for COM3

BASEDEV=BDCOM.SYS /B3 /P1

The parameters "/B3 /P1" for COM4

For ePCI cards
 BASEDEV=BDCOM.SYS /X1 /P0
 BASEDEV=BDCOM.SYS /X2 /P1

Where /P0 is the instruction to set COM1; Where /P1 is the instruction to set COM2.

If you need to move ports to, say, 8 and 9, use the /B8 switch:

 BASEDEV=BDCOM.SYS /B8 /P0
 BASEDEV=BDCOM.SYS /B8 /P1

By default driver setup on COM1 ad COM2 port.
