BDCOM.SYS
Appearance
Communication port 32 bit BASDEV device driver for the 1C00:2273, 9710:9865 (MosChip) and the 125B:9100 devices.
Syntax
BASEDEV=BDCOM.SYS <parameter>
Parameters
- /B3
- The base for com-ports. 3 - The first UART COM3 and second COM4. Base - only one character ( 0..8 ).
- /P0
- for COM1
- /P1
- for COM2
Each UART requires a separate line in config.sys. There should be as many lines as you want to see COMx in the system.
Example
BASEDEV=BDCOM.SYS /P0
The parameters "/P0" for COM1
BASEDEV=BDCOM.SYS /P1
The parameters "/P1" for COM2
BASEDEV=BDCOM.SYS /B3 /P0
The parameters "/B3 /P0" for COM3
BASEDEV=BDCOM.SYS /B3 /P1
The parameters "/B3 /P1" for COM4
- For ePCI cards
BASEDEV=BDCOM.SYS /X1 /P0 BASEDEV=BDCOM.SYS /X2 /P1
Where /P0 is the instruction to set COM1; Where /P1 is the instruction to set COM2.
If you need to move ports to, say, 8 and 9, use the /B8 switch:
BASEDEV=BDCOM.SYS /B8 /P0 BASEDEV=BDCOM.SYS /B8 /P1
By default driver setup on COM1 ad COM2 port.
