A company based in Clearwater, Florida, USA, that developed programming tools primarily intended for COBOL users and often traded as Coboltools.com. The operation was founded in 1993 by Jay Johnson (ex-RealWorld Corp.) and Dr. Charles Prenner (ex-Xerox and former Harvard and UC Berkley professor), and initially focused on providing tools for Micro Focus Cobol, but later added support for Fujitsu COBOL and increasingly focused on providing tools to port legacy COBOL code to PC's and Unix workstations in addition to offering porting services, help in re-factoring vintage code for year 2000 support and other programming services for COBOL code in general.

Advanced Logics disappears around the turn of the century for reasons unknown.
