A Pascal derivative developed in Canada in the late 80s, early 90s that has some structural similarities to Ada. Named after French mathematician Jean-Baptiste Joseph Fourier and is a hint at its Pascal origins but that language is named after another French mathematician Blaise Pascal.

There was an OS/2 compatible tool available at some point in time, believed to have been a proprietary tool developed by or for a Canadian governmental institution but no one can remember its status or how well developed it was. Since namesake Fourier has not only lent his name to the mathematical techniques he developed and the FFTs that perform similar tasks to his original formulæ, but to a whole swathe of institutions and organizations around the world and even Manga characters, it is not only impossible to find any references to the package on the net using modern search engines, but also made it impossible to find any trace of the language.
