At the time of these articles, Marc van Woerkom was a physics student at the Rheinisch-Westfaelische Technische Hochschule Aachen in Germany. At that time, he worked at the Aachen Center for Solidification in Space, ACCESS, on his Diplomarbeit.

When he wasn't wrestling with FORTRAN 77 code for his diploma, he enjoyed the progress made in the last 15 years i.e. programming in C++ on his private OS/2 machine. Next to his computer addiction, he liked to cross the nearby Dutch border to see a good movie, read science-fiction, play Badminton on occasion and also watch a lot of cable television.

At that time he could be reached at: (home) or (work)

Marc has written the following articles:

  • Making Noise with MMPM/2 - Part 1/2 (January 1994)
  • Making Noise with MMPM/2 - Part 2/2 (March 1994)
