CA-Realia II Workbench is a development system that provides a mainframe-compatible COBOL development environment for Windows or OS/2 workstations.

Features

CA-Realia II Workbench offers a Windows-based graphical user interface for the development, maintenance, analysis and testing of COBOL programs. It includes an optimising COBOL compiler, a debugger, an analyser, a CICS emulator, an integrated editor and a life cycle management tool for source control.

  • Release 1 (Oct 1993)
  • Release 1.2 (May 1995)
  • Release 2.0 - 16-bit
  • Release 3.0 - 32-bit (supports Windows NT and Windows 95)
  • Release 3.1 - 32-bit (compatible with Windows NT, Windows 95, Windows 98, and Windows 2000)
Known issues

Release 3 was specifically designed for 32-bit operating systems, although it will work on Windows 3.x on Win-OS/2 with the latest Win32s.
