Softbridge Basic Language (SBL) is an embeddable scripting language from Mystic River Software, Inc. SBL was available for Windows 16, Windows 95, Windows NT and Win32s; Macintosh; OS/2; NLM and Unix.

History

Version 1.0 of SBL was introduced in 1991 and was compatible with Microsoft Word Basic 2.0. SBL version 2 came out 1992 with Visual Basic 1.0 compatibility. Version 3.0 was first introduced in 1993 and added Visual Basic 3 features and multi-platform support. Version 3.4 was VBA compatible with many extended features for OLE automation and object oriented applications.

SBL 5.2 was released in June, 1998 for Win32.
