IBM PS/2 RPG II Application Platform
Appearance
An RPG II deployment system originally shipped in 1988 that allowed a PS/2 compatible workstation or server running OS/2 to run software originally developed for System/36. The RPG II AP system runs as an OS/2 task and allows up to eight users to work on S/36 RGP compatible applications at a time, either connected via networking on PC's or using dumb ASCII terminals. The code for the RPG II AP is based on the Baby/36 and should run System/34 applications out of the box as well as well as AS/400 applications specifically developed as RPG II (as opposed to RPG III or the native RPG/400).
