An implementation of Modula-2 developed by IBM during the 80's and believed to have derived from ETH's freeware M2 system, although that is not for certain and it may have been built from scratch or developed using bought in code. It was never distributed or deployed outside of IBM.

Almost nothing is actually known about the system apart from throwaway mentions in interviews with IBM system developers that were active in the late 80's and sideway mentions in forum posting by old IBMers. But what is known is that portions of the AS/400 operating system were developed using the Modula-2 system, an OS/2 1.x port existed at some point in time and the system had a 68000 back end amongst others, which may indicate that it was used in conjunction with the IBM Instrumentation Computer and that it has some linage to the ETH system.
