Tower Technology

A company founded in 1990 in Atlanta, Georgia, USA but based during most of its lifetime in Austin, Texas. Delivered its first product in the form of Tower Eiffel in 1993 in a version for Sun SPARC workstations and an OS/2 version shipped in early 1994. The company operated as an Eiffel specialist selling both its own products and services in addition to Eiffel related products from third parties until 1997 when they converted their Eiffel compiler into a native Java compiler called "TowerJ", for a few months the company supported both languages but had by early 1998 dropped all products but TowerJ.

The company went out of business in 2002.
