DBASE II

dBASE II is a database management system developed by Wayne Ratliff, Jim Taylor and Howard Dickler for micro computers and published by Ashton-Tate.

History

The relational database system was introduced for CP/M in 1980 as dBASE II and was quickly ported to most common 8-bit platforms. It was ported to DOS in 1982.
