Description

A Forth "metacompiler" (cross-compiler) that runs on top of UR/FORTH from the same company, it is a cross development program that allows you to develop code in Forth that is then cross compiled to run on most available microprocessors that were available on the market in the latter half of the 80's.

By 1991 the product name was simply Forth-83 Metacompiler and supported code generation for the 8080, Z-80, 8088, 68000, 6502, 8051, 8096, 1802, 6303, 6809, 68HC11, 34010, V25 and RTX-2000 microprocessors. The AT&T UNIX version had been dropped and only OS/2 and DOS hosted versions were available.
