David Charlap has been writing OS/2 software since 1991. He is currently employed by Visix Software, Inc. and does most of the OS/2-specific software development there. He also develops code for UNIX and Windows platforms.  
David Charlap developed software for OS/2 from 1991 until 1998. His key OS/2 projects during this time were integrating Microsoft Excel (on 16-bit OS/2) with IBM mainframe databases, and working on the OS/2 version Visix Software's [http://ambiencia.com/products.php Galaxy] and [http://www2.sys-con.com/itsg/virtualcd/java/archives/0205/riesp58/index.html Vibe] products.
 
He currently works for a manufacturer of networking and telecom equipment, developing network protocol software for Linux and various embedded operating systems. He's also a big fan of (but not a developer for) Mac OS.
