David Charlap developed software for OS/2 from 1991 until 1998. His key OS/2 projects during this time were integrating Microsoft Excel (on 16-bit OS/2) with IBM mainframe databases, and working on the OS/2 version Visix Software's Galaxy and Vibe products.
He currently works for a manufacturer of networking and telecom equipment, developing network protocol software for Linux and various embedded operating systems. He's also a big fan of (but not a developer for) Mac OS.
