Multifunction Buffer Manager

Multiplatform runtime or "security kernel" that provides security functions including signature and asymmetric encryption. Via its API it offers a multitude of functions, including automatic compression, codpage transformations, hashing and symmetric encryption, asymmetric encryption and digital signature in PKCS # 7, key management for PKCS # 1-5-8-12, manage certificate requests, certificate and CRL format X509, automatic time stamping in RFC3161 format, analysis of ASN.1 structures and support for smart card readers.

Written primarily for the banking, financial industries, government agencies and bigger companies to provide them with a platform where they can can write secure applications, with emphasis on financial transactions over the internet.
