Move articles to os2world wiki

Hey!, there are some articles in the edm2 wiki that are not development-related. I think they should not be in this wiki. But there is a new wiki in the os2world web page that can host them. What do you think about this?. The articles are: The config.sys documentation project, booting several operating systems, and dual boot.

I consider edm/2 is good one point source for most of OS/2 related documentation. For developer not inly coding things is important. For example, config.sys documentation is good source for boot-flow and components interoperation.

Front page rearrangement

Since the article section of the Wiki sees very limited updates and what little action there is on the site is mostly contained to more generic Wiki part, I will re-arrange the front page to reflect this in the coming months and to make it seem less stale. ~~ Reiknir Jan 2015.

The top section of the front page currently points to a article categories, this made sense when the wiki was first started but none now when there is only a new article every few years. I will in the next few weeks re-arrange the front page and to a lesser degree the structure of the wiki to reflect this and make the wiki structure more coherent~~ Reiknir December 2015.

P.S. This is needed not just to make the wiki seem less outdated and confusing than it really is (go to top of page, get an article from 1997), but also because for some bizarre reason the old EDM articles are content wise separated from the rest of the wiki in an artificial manner. That separation is better done by categories.

I will also remove the glossary category and either flesh out the links or integrate them to a single page, as a category it makes no sense.

os2ezine archive

How about move os2ezine to edm/2 as archive copy? os2ezine has some interesting development articles...

That is actually a good idea, but we need either to get a permission for a licence change for each article, or make sure each article is done with a "not under AASH licence" preamble --Reiknir (talk) 18:42, 19 March 2016 (CET)

Other OS/2 Related Sites

In my opinion a wiki is not a link farm. Especially not an advertisement thing for commercial sites. So please remove this annoyance! --ak120 (talk) 17:35, 29 October 2016 (CEST)
