Ralph M. Pipitone was a senior programmer in the PeopleWare area of OS/2 Warp, in the IBM Personal Software Products division, Boca Raton, Florida. He was responsible for ensuring the integration of HCI technologies into OpenDoc components. Since joining IBM in 1968, he has developed software for the IBM 1800 process control computer, System/7, Series/1, Personal Computer AT, and Personal System/2. Ralph has numerous IBM hardware and software patents and technical disclosures. He has a BS degree in Mathematics from The University of Illinois at Chicago and is currently a career advisor at Palm Beach Community College.
