Open Sibyl was a Netlabs project to build a Pascal RAD (Rapid Application Development) Tool for OS/2 and eCS that mimicked the features of Borland Delphi but with OS/2 specific feature support such as SOM, REXX and WPS, on top of mimicking the component features of the Blackbox Oberon system (aka Oberon/F) but rather than extending the Pascal language as Blackbox did with Oberon, the Open Sybil wanted to create a layer on top more like OpenDoc does.

Open Sbil was to be built on top of Free Pascal compiler and its libraries.
