During its last few years the group expanded its focus and renamed itself the "Mid-Atlantic OS/2 and Java User Group" (MAOS2JUG). The group also held out a free Bulletin board service between 1994 and 1999.

The group was appears to have been founded in 1993 or thereabouts and was disbanded in December 2002.
