The Southern California Os/2 User Group or '''SCOUG''' was one of the the more active [[OS/2 User Groups]] out there, it was originally founded in 1993 and was active as late as 2013.

The SCOUG was big enough to hold out a number of Special Interest Groups or SIG's, including:
*Programming SIG - Covered the usual topics including [[REXX]], [[C]], [[C++]], [[Java]], the [[Presentation Manager]], [[OpenClass]] etc. It was active at the least as late as 2008, since [[Zdeněk V. Jizba]] was giving APL classes there that year.
* Networking SIG
* Internet SIG
* General Interest Group
Some of these groups met after each monthly SCOUG meeting, others had independent meetings.
