Systems specialist based in Eriskirch in Germany that did a lot of porting of Microsoft Windows applications to OS/2 and vice versa, the company later vent on to develop the VirtualBox PC emulator/virtualiser. Innotek was originally founded in 1992, after the company was bought by Sun Microsystems in 2008 the name was simplified to Innotek GmbH, its headquarters were moved to Stuttgart and all operations other than VirtualBox were closed down. The company became a division of Oracle after the latter company took over Sun Microsystems in 2010.
