Frank Matthijs received his Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Computer Science at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium). At the time of writing for EDM/2 he was a PhD student at the same university. He started programming in DOS using Pascal and Assembler, started using and programming OS/2 since version 2.0 and was using C and C++ almost exclusively.
