Multi-platform industrial strength Prolog interpreter and toolkit. The versions 2 and 3 of the toolkit were available on a number of platforms including OS/2 but from version 4 and onwards only released on Windows, Linux, Solaris and Mac OS X. v1 and v2 and possibly early versions of v3 also featured a built-in Prolog compiler but it was eliminated from later versions as the performance advantages of the compiler versus the interpreter were not as great as they had been in early versions.
