Micro Focus COBOL/2 was available for the XENIX, DOS and OS/2 operating systems.
IBM COBOL/2 and Microsoft COBOL Optimizing Compiler Version 3.0 (introduced in August 1988) are based on Micro Focus COBOL/2.
Later versions can be used to upgrade from IBM COBOL/2. It is also included as a part of Micro Focus COBOL/2 Workbench.
