- "Essential Client/Server Survival Guide" (VNR, 1994) by Bob Orfali, Dan Harkey, and Jeri Edwards provides an even gentler (and shorter) introduction for managers. IBM # SR28-5572, ISBN 0-442-01941-6. $25
