ParcPlace-Digitalk was formed by the merger of ParcPlace Systems and Digitalk, which was announced in May and completed in August 1995. The compüany had headquarters in Sunnyvale, California, with subsidiaries in France, Germany, and the UK. In August 1996 Objectshare Systems, Inc. was acquired.
