Dr. Michael S. Kogan is an independent consultant who specializes in personal computer software and systems. He provides technical consulting and education services to the corporate and retail sectors. Formerly with IBM, he has worked on OS/2 since 1985 as a lead OS/2
developer and subsequently as lead designer of OS/2 2.0 with responsibilities in all areas of the system. Dr. Kogan received his B.S. from Emory University in Georgia, and he earned
his M.S. and Sc.D. degrees from Nova University in Florida, where he was also a visiting professor.
