MetaWare Incorporated was founded 1979 in Santa Cruz, California. The company provided toolsets for software developers. Components include compiler, assembler, linker, debugger, and run-time libraries. In 1994 MetaWare introduced High C/C++ for OS/2 with DirectToSOM functionality.
