Microsoft Editor is a programming editor that was included with company's language offerings. The program can be used as a development environment by invoking the make facility.

History
The Microsoft OS/2 Software Development Kit included the SDK Editor (SDKED), which was essentially an OS/2 port of Mark Zbikowski’s Editor Z that was used internally at Microsoft before. In Microsoft Macro Assembler 5.1 and Microsoft C 5.1 the name changed to Microsoft Editor (M or MEP) that was later also integrated into Programmer’s Workbench (PWB) of later language releases.
