Peter Magid was a Staff Programmer and the User Interface Design Lead for the Workplace Shell Development Team. After joining IBM in 1984, he worked on RPS for the Series/1. In 1987 he became part of the OS/2 Development Team working on OS/2 commands, utilities, and Toolkit samples. Before becoming part of the Workplace Shell team in 1991, Peter's most notable accomplishment was leading the development of the protected-mode command processor (CMD.EXE).
