A small company run by Wayne Swanson and based in Jamestown, North Dakota, USA. The company made utility and programming software for the OS/2 market in addition to offering sundry related services such as VisPro/Rexx source code recovery, but almost all of the company's products were built using that tool. The company disappears around 2004, and its website was taken over by a domain vulture a few years later that repopulated the page with archive copies of texts from the original PillarSoft homepage with the addition of Google adverts and links to popular Mac and Microsoft Windows shareware.
This fake homepage and the fact that BMT Micro continued accepting registrations for PillarSoft products gave the impression that the company was still going but in actuality it has been defunct more more than a decade.
