Network operating system introduced in May 1999
OS/2 Warp Server for e-business requires:
- One or more Intel-compatible Pentium processors or higher
- Symmetrical multiprocessor-based systems compliant with the Intel Multiprocessor Specification (MPS) Version 1.4 or 1.1
- 32 MB of RAM
- 250 MB of free hard disk space
- 1.44 MB, 3.5 diskette drive
- VGA video support
- IBM-compatible mouse
- Supported CD-ROM drive
- Supported LAN adapter card
- Modem 9600 bps (for Remote Access Services)
New features:
- Year 2000 and euro currency readiness
- Java 1.1.7 and Netscape 4
- TCP/IP 4.21
- Websphere Application Server 1.1
- Lotus Domino Go Webserver 4.6.2.7
- Tivoli Management Agent
Two packages were sold separately:
- 386 High Performance File System Upgrade (386 HPFS)
