British gent, was the managing director of Procyon Research Ltd., a pioneering development tools company that amongst other things delivered the first commercially available CLOS implementation and the first LISP toolkit available for OS/2. He was also a member of the ANSI X3J13 Common Lisp standards committee for a number of years.
