An OS/2 and DOS text mode editor that is custom built to edit TeX files with, specifically supporting emTeX and LaTeX out of the box, but can be adjusted for other implementations. Amongst other features TeXPERT provides an archive tool for speedy access to commonly used files and an interface to grep for quickly scanning files. The UI of TeXPert can also be modified to suit your taste.
