A user group also known by its acronym MAOS2UG that served the "Mid-Atlantic" area of the USA, that is roughly Delaware, Washington D.C., Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia although most of their operations appear to have been centred around Virginia. During its last few years, the group expanded its focus and renamed itself the "Mid-Atlantic OS/2 and Java User Group" (MAOS2JUG). The group also held out a free Bulletin board service between 1994 and 1999.
The group appears to have been founded in 1993 or thereabouts and was disbanded in December 2002.
