A DOS word processor first introduced in 1986 by a Brazilian company called "Convergente". As until Lotus Smartsuite was released there was a dearth of word processing software for OS/2 that supported Portuguese and in particular Brazilian Portuguese, this was a popular alternative for Brazilian OS/2 users, both in the original DOS version and in a later Microsoft Windows 3.x port that ran under WinOS/2.
