Mark E. Miesfeld was a prolific programmer and REXX enthusiast who was introduced to the language when he moved to OS/2 from DOS in the early '90s.
Mr Miesfeld worked for IBM where he spent 7 years leading Software Test Automation projects implemented primarily in Object REXX and Java and then moved on to Cisco, DFX Systems and AMCC where he worked primarily as a programmer of embedded systems and device drivers, but in addition did considerable voluntary work for, and was a member of the REXX Language Association.
