If you cannot get the external 5.25-inch 1.2MB diskette drive to work on a PS/2 computer, install the device driver that comes with the drive into the OS2 directory in the startup partition. The device driver is called EXT5DD.SYS. Change your CONFIG.SYS file statement to read OS2\EXT5DD.SYS instead of OS2\EXTDSKDD.SYS.
