Description
Networking protocols originally designed by DEC in 1975 to connect different VAX computers together but later extended into generic networking protocols. You could get DECnet for OS/2 and most common operating systems in the late 80's and early 90's either a a separate product or bundled with networking software such as DEC PathWorks
