Mark E. Miesfeld was a prolific programmer and [[REXX]] enthusiast and former OS/2 user, who worked for [[IBM]], [[Cisco]], DFX Systems and AMCC primarily as a programmer of embedded systems and device drivers, but in addition did considerable voluntary work for, and was a member of the  [[REXX Language Association]].
