Misc

CFOS.SYS

CFOS is a driver that sits between your ISDN hardware and your Modem Software (Internet Dialer, Terminal program). It emulates a COM port. 'cFos' device driver receives the usual modem commands, the so-called AT commands from the communication programs and turns them into the corresponding ISDN CAPI commands. ISDN CAPI responses are turned into modem responses of the same meaning, so that the communication programs 'understand' them.

DEVICE=C:\Cfos\Cfos.Sys <parameters>

As you can enter any equipment names (e.g.: ISDN1) or several COM ports (a maximum of two in the shareware version, up to 30 in 'cFos Professional'). Be careful not to enter COM ports that actually exist as hardware and are in use (e.g. a COM port for your mouse).

NOTE
The CFOS.SYS driver should be loaded after drivers for serial interfaces (COM.SYS oder SIO.SYS) and after the CAPI driver.

CFOS20.SYS

  • /S:x - Serialnumber
  • /A:x - Activation key
  • /K:DIVA - Cardtype (only for Eicon Diehl DIVA Cards Version 5.0.3 or higher)
