USA based developer and manufacturer of computer hardware and software, designed the world's first microprocessor in conjunction with Japanese company "Busicom" in the early 1970s and is the company behind the x86 standard used on IBM PC, IBM PC AT and Personal System/2 (PS/2) class computers alongside clones and compatible systems.
