This one is currently total chaos. Broken links and mixing technology related with product related stuff. SOM which is crucial is hidden in Category link at bottom.--ak120 (talk) 15:59, 24 March 2016 (CET)
I am working on the links section and am about halfway through doing the article again from scratch, it is time consuming to find the replacements for the documentation linked to on that now dead abandonware site (and who thought storing files and linking to them on abandonware sites was a good idea?), it will take me about another week before it is complete. P.S. Thanks for the great work you did on the APL manual --Reiknir (talk) 16:11, 24 March 2016 (CET)
P.S. You do realise that OpenDoc is not strictly related to SOM? The whole CORBA/SOM thing was clobbered onto OpenDoc later, basically WordPerfect and IBM used SOM, everyone else used straight CORBA (which SOM kind of is), but the original OpenDoc spec has neither.
I only replaced some links for DC News articles that are already here. Perhaps in theory, I remember that also with Apple's MacOS 8.x SOMobjects had to installed. It can be confusing to distinguish between OpenDoc specification versions and the real releases from Apple and IBM. --ak120 (talk) 19:33, 24 March 2016 (CET)
