The Sundial Systems Corporation was founded in Seal Beach, California, USA in 1988 by Carla Hanzlik and the late Dr. Randell S. Flint. The company initially marketed a somewhat revolutionary OS/2 PIM application called Relish that Dr. Flint had developed and during the next couple of decades evolved into something of an OS/2 specialist that in addition to licensing, developing and distributing OS/2 products that others had given up on the company also started to offer other services related to the operating system.

Sadly Dr. Randell S. Flint passed away on October 5, 2007 and as the other partners in the company though they lacked the technical skills and inclination to continue the operation, the company was dissolved in early 2008.
