Microshare Corporation was a company based in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. Founded in the mid 80s to sell a multi-user IBM PC based alternative to minicomputer Business Basic systems. In 1995 the company was effectively split into two, Miller Software Bureau, Inc. of Barnesville, Maryland took over the development of the software while sales were handled by Microshare Inc., a company also listed in Barnesville but run out of Freeport in Maine. George Miller was the president of both companies, he had joined the original company in 1986 as a systems programmer but was not one of the original owners.

The company folded around 2000 and the codebase was acquired by "Business Basic Systems Corporation" who announced that they had open sourced the system, but it transpired that they never did.
